Evaluation of the Economy of the Selected Organization of Public Sector

This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the management of two state non-profit organizations, large school - 2nd Primary School in the Moravska Třebová and small classes school in the village of Linhartice. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical problems of management of non-profit organizations, that are needed to build the second practical part, which focuses on specific financial analysis of the revenue and expenditure of state non-profit organizations. Based on the data in the third part presents a comparison between revenues and expenditures of both schools for a period of three years and subsequent recommendation to increase their yields and better management.
Analysis of School Attendance in Town Olomouc Using Time Series

The content of this work is to analyze demographic trends and do the analysis of primary and secondary school facilities in the city of Olomouc. The main objective is to make a prognosis of number of children to be enrolled at primary schools and hight schools depending on number of the born children. Predictions of the number of children will be compared with the current capacity of school facilities. Time series application are used in this thesis.

The main purpose of the text is determination of prognosis of children in these school facilities depending on the number of births. This prognosis is compared to the current situation in kindergartens and schools. Statistical methods of time series are used to achieve these objectives.
Phenomenon of Private Elementary Schools - New Trend in Education?

This diploma thesis deals with the situation of emerging private elementary schools in the Czech Republic. As this is a new phenomenon, only recognised in the past few years, there is little detailed evidence that would provide the necessary information about these schools; such as what kind of schools are registered and why they were created. This paper aim is to identify and describe the main types of these schools and understand their functions. The first part is to comprehend the shift in education and stress out the influence and role of new actors. This is achieved through providing the different perspectives on education and through description of supply and demand for education. This new phenomenon is also supported by the Theory of Exit, Voice & Loyalty which explains behaviour of private school's initiators and founders. The thesis also examines different authors' and publications' views on alternative and traditional schooling, private, public and non-public schools and the difficulties in comparison across different educational systems. The practical part and its research offers systematic and objective evaluation of the new schools being established and how they work. HRUBÁ, Kateřina. Bullying in elementary schools in connection with Ukrainian pupils. Prague, 2023. Thesis. Protestant Theological Faculty of Charles University. The diploma thesis entitled Bullying in elementary schools in connection with Ukrainian pupils deals with the problem of bullying in elementary schools. It is primarily aimed at Ukrainian pupils who attend Czech schools as a result of the war conflict, but it deals with this negative phenomenon in general, its forms, prevention, solutions, etc. The theoretical part consists of 2 chapters, the 3rd chapter is devoted to research. The main goal of my diploma thesis is to find out whether Ukrainian pupils are bullied in primary schools. A qualitative research strategy is used using the technique of semi-structured interview.
Organizational forms of German language education at primary schools in Rokycany

Abstrackt This Diploma thesis deals with the organizational forms of German language education at the 2nd level of three primary schools in Rokycany. After studying the professional literature, the German education as a second foreign language and the organizational forms of teaching (individual, collective, individualized, differentiated, team teaching and group work together with work in pairs) are characterized. After that these primary schools are described along with their school educations programs, textbooks, workbooks. There are presented protocols of sitting in on classes from the 120 German language lessons, that have been visited. Then these data are evaluated. The sitting in on classes show that at these primary schools are most commonly used forms of working in the plenum and frontal instriction - interpretation. At two schools, there was no group work in any teaching classes. A total of 209 pupils and 11 German language teachers completed questionnaires on organisational forms of teaching. Models of questionnaires are available in the appendices. The inquiry reveals that the majority of pupils are most attracted to working in pairs. On the contrary, they are least approached by independent work.
A probe of student´s knowledge of photosynthesis at the lower-secondary school

This bachelor's thesis focuses on pupil's knowledge about photosynthesis and the other related processes in the terrestrial plants. The aim of the thesis was to find out misconceptions of the ninth grade pupils of elementary schools and lower grammar schools. It also deals with attitudes of teachers about teaching photosynthesis. Theoretical part of this thesis mentions physiological processes of plants and their possible misconceptions. These misconceptions are common in Czech and foreign studies. The study was realized in four elementary schools and lower grammar school using a questionnaire survey. The results of the survey declare that there are misconceptions and insufficient knowledge of plant physiology. Answers from biology teachers state that teaching biochemical processes in lower grades of primary school is difficult.

Klára Koběrská: Chemical experiments in the home environment and their didactic processing. Bachelor thesis. Prague: Faculty of Science, Charles University, 2023. Abstract The bachelor's thesis focuses on home experiments in chemistry and their didactic processing. The theoretical part defines the concept of experimental teaching of chemistry, its function, and its concept in obligatory pedagogical documents. It also includes the involvement of chemical experiments in distance learning and the safety of practical chemistry teaching outside the laboratory environment. The thesis aims to conduct research and evaluate available didactic materials on the topic, thus evaluating the didactic processing, availability, safety, age of students, and relation to RVP, as well as the time demands of 16 materials. Based on the research findings, the practical part presents 5 worksheets for students supplemented with methodological instructions for teachers. These didactic materials were evaluated by 10 teachers and 69 students throughout the questionnaire, and their comments were considered in the final adjustment of the set of worksheets.
